Website Updates and May 8th Webinar

By Hank Giclas on May 4, 2012

Let me say right up front I am not a webmaster by any stretch of the imagination. For those that are ... I have renewed levels of respect......

Today I worked to update some of the material on this site and to ensure that we continue to deliver current content and process centered around openess, accessibility and transparency.  but i will readily admit this is a "work in progress".  I welcome suggestions on how we can make this more user friendly and improve utility feel free to send your ideas my way.

Today I posted notes from last Tuesday's (5/1) webinar along with a registration link and proposed agenda for the next webinar (5/8).

In addition, the Resources page has a new look and new resources.  A table of resources has been created with documents being calssified as "background" and "working" to distinguish between those that re references and those that are being reviewed, discussed and revised by the working group (respectively).  On this page you will find a copy of the current draft guidance with comments, additions, deletions, questions, etc., all "tracked" within the document as well as indicators of where we are in the discussions. In addition, a "timeline" showing the proposed time frame for development and current status and a supply chain flow chart have been added.  Finally, in an effort to facilitate continuous progress on the guidance we are proposing to use a "parking lot" to allow issues that may need additional discussion, expertise, research or language to be moved offline, worked on and brought back to the working group. It is our hope this will help prevent us from "getting stuck" on a single issue during the short weekly calls.

See you (virtually) next week!
